Mary Flower and Eric Lugosch Mary Flower is an internationally known and award-winning picker, singer/songwriter and teacher. The Delphi native relocated from Denver to the vibrant Portland, Oregon music scene in 2004. She continues to please crowds and critics at folk festivals, teaching seminars, and concert stages domestically and abroad that include Merlefest, Kerrville, King Biscuit, Prairie Home Companion and the Vancouver Folk Festival, among many.

Her immense finger picking guitar and lap-slide prowess is soulful and meter-perfect, a deft blend of the inventive, the dexterous and the mesmerizing. Her supple honey-and-whiskey voice provides the perfect melodic accompaniment to each song’s story.

Eric Lugosch is a nationally awarded fingerstyle guitarist, talented songwriter, and former teacher at the renowned Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago.

In 1997 after performing the opening set at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley for legendary fingerstyle guitarist Duck Baker, Duck offered to submit Eric’s music to the guitarist Peter Finger, who is the owner of Acoustic Music Records in Germany. Duck’s recommendation worked, and Eric’s next three recordings were released by the label: Black Key Blues, Kind Heroes, and New Tradition.

In the Limelight: Candi Pastor Harrison Meet Candi Pastor Harrison...author, storyteller, local historian
Candi loved her childhood growing up on Delphi's south hill, where she lived until age15. Although her family moved and she graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School, Candi considers the Oracle Class of 1968 her class. After earning her degrees at Indiana University, Candi had a successful career in higher education administration and public service, primarily in Philadelphia and Washington DC. In 2001, Candi and her husband, Russ, moved to Tucson, Arizona, close to her sister and family. Since retiring in 2005, Candi has circled back to where she
started, telling the stories of the people who influenced her as a child and who made Delphi her beloved hometown. As Candi says, "In my heart, I’ll always be a 'Delphi gal.'”
